3. Price Estimations and Offers

3.1 Free Estimations

Estimations provided via our website or telephone are based on the information you provide. They are indicative only and do not constitute a formal offer to purchase.

3.2 Formal Offers

A formal offer is made following our assessment of your vehicle details. All offers are:

Subject to physical inspection at the point of collection
Based on the accuracy of information you provide
Valid for 14 days from the date of issue
Made in pounds sterling (GBP)

3.3 Offer Amendments

Important: If the vehicle's condition at collection differs materially from your description, ACB reserves the right to revise or withdraw the offer. You will be notified immediately and have no obligation to sell unless you accept a revised offer.

4. Seller Obligations

As a seller, you confirm that:

You are the legal owner or are authorised to sell the vehicle
The vehicle is free from outstanding finance (unless disclosed and agreed in advance)
All information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge
You will disclose all known faults, damage or issues before collection
You will provide all relevant documentation (V5C, service history, keys)
The vehicle will be available at the agreed collection time and location

5. Payment

Payment is made in full before we take possession of your vehicle
Payment is by bank transfer (BACS) to your nominated UK bank account
We do not pay by cash or cheque unless agreed in writing
Bank processing times may vary; ACB is not liable for banking delays

6. Collection

Collection is free of charge anywhere within mainland UK
A date and time will be agreed with you after offer acceptance
You must ensure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed time
ACB reserves the right to cancel the purchase if collection is repeatedly prevented by you

7. Withdrawal and Cancellation

7.1 Your right to withdraw

You may withdraw from the sale at any time before payment is made and the vehicle collected, without penalty.

7.2 ACB's right to withdraw

ACB may withdraw any offer before payment if: the vehicle information is found to be materially inaccurate; outstanding finance is discovered; you cannot prove legal ownership; or the vehicle's condition materially differs from your description.

8. Outstanding Finance

ACB may conduct a vehicle history check. If undisclosed outstanding finance is found, ACB may withdraw the offer or adjust it to account for the settlement figure, subject to your agreement. Selling a vehicle with undisclosed finance may constitute fraud.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, ACB's total liability shall not exceed the agreed purchase price of your vehicle. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

10. Privacy

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy (see the tab above), which forms part of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be on our website. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
